Job Description
VHP Family Health Center is seeking a full-time physician to deliver compassionate, comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics. This role includes managing acute and chronic conditions, promoting preventive health and coordinating care across specialties. Physicians in this practice also provide family planning and gynecological services with opportunities to participate in subspecialty clinics, such as manipulations, sports medicine and substance use disorder treatment.
This position offers a balanced schedule of 36 patient care hours and 4 administrative hours per week with a Monday–Friday clinic model and occasional weekend rounding. The ideal candidate is committed to patient-centered care, team-based collaboration and serving a diverse community.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD)
- Clinical experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting
- Board-certified or board-eligible
Licensure:
- Current Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Active CDS certification
- Active DEA certification
- Willingness to obtain CPR certification
