Sleepy Eye Medical Center (SEMC) is a sixteen-bed, critical access hospital located in rural Brown County, MN. The facility is independently owned and operated by the City of Sleepy Eye, a population of 3,445 residents. Since its construction in 1941, several renovations and improvements have taken place, allowing SEMC to meet the ever-changing healthcare needs of Sleepy Eye and the surrounding communities. SEMC provides care to patients at the clinic and hospital in Sleepy Eye as well as satellite clinics located in the rural communities of Comfrey and Morgan.
